What is Placenta Encapsulation ?

Experience all of the benefits of your placenta! A great majority of other mammals have shown that Placenta is the ultimate postpartum "mothers assistant". Utilizing your placenta after birth can help to increase milk supply, guard against anemia, fight fatigue as well as alleviate many other post birth problems. Placenta encapsulation means that you can reap the rewards in a familiar way. Taking it as a capsule, in a tincture, or through a salve are all beneficial. As an encapsulation specialist, I will prepare your placenta for you after you give birth. The process will be completed and products ready for use within 24/36 hours. This beautiful process can be very helpful for the mother during the postpartum period and beyond. It really is a remedy for new mothers.

Placenta Pills, Tincture, Salve and MORE!

Your encapsulation package will include your placenta capsules, a tincture, salve and a cord keepsake with a beautiful bag.The Placenta Pills are prepared using the Traditional Chinese Method. The tincture is prepared using locally produced 80 proof vodka and is delivered in a large bottle with an additional bottle and dropper to fill for use. The salve is prepared using a carrier oil, and Shea butter, and expires within three months from preparation. The tincture, and capsules do not have an expiration date if kept according to instructions. I do provide an informational sheet with instructions for each product.

Speak with your provider about your encapsulation plans, so that they are aware you do not want your placenta disposed of. Select a friend/family member who will be available to contact me as soon as possible after you give birth to arrange the process. I will then come to your home, or complete the process in my home within the first 24 hours after the birth. Once the process is complete (about 24 hours total) I will bring your package to you, either at the hospital or in your home and communicate the dosage and storage guidelines as well as answer any questions that you may have.
